At Geostruct, we help plan and build infrastructural networks (FttH, electricity). Our main product, Infra Management Suite, is a comprehensive platform that supports the complete end-to-end network planning process.

What will you do?

As a business (implementation) consultant, you are the linking pin between the client and Geostruct. Together with the client, you identify the needs, requirements and objectives. And then you, together with your colleagues, consider the best route to a successful implementation. After defining an implementation plan, you usually get to work on configuration of the software in line with customer specifications. Understanding system logic and having insight into business processes is a plus here. After go-live, you remain the sparring partner for the customer and support the key users in using the software.

You will also keep track of project planning, progress and budgets.

You are expected to carry out projects (up to a certain size) independently. On the more complicated and larger projects, you will work together in teams. You can choose to work from either the offices in Utrecht or Amsterdam or, depending on the situation, at the customer’s location.

Your activities include:

• Independently execute and manage projects at home and abroad (e.g. Belgium, Germany, USA)
• Analysing, understanding and describing the processes at your customers;
• Defining implementation plans;
• Setting up and configuring customer-specific requirements in the software;
• Presenting to, communicating with and advising the customer

What do you bring to this?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent background;
• at least 2 years of experience in a similar position
• affinity with IT;
• you have highly developed analytical skills;
• you are flexible and can switch quickly and set priorities;
• good communication skills;
• good command of the English language in word and writing;
• available for a minimum of 32 hours.

What will you do?

As a software developer you are involved in specifications, develop, deliver and support the customer. In the meantime you discuss with colleagues about these specifications, testing findings, new functionality, a broad and technical role for an (experienced) software developer.

Your activities include:

• Solving (complex) incidents;
• ensuring optimal operation and availability of the (web) applications;
• developing and managing new functionalities;
• working with large complex systems;
• working with modern techniques to scale the application;
• testing new features.

What do you bring to this?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent background;
• At least 2 years of experience in software development, preferably with .NET;
• experience with GIS, Openlayers, HTML5, Javascript or Angular is recommended;
• good command of the English language both verbally and in writing.
